Heart of Dubai: How The Chocolate Lab Went Viral It all started with a scrolling session and a sugar craving. The Chocolate Lab team stumbled on the Dubai Chocolate Bar trend and thought, Why not bring some of that bling to YYC Hot Chocolate Fest? Cue the brainstorming—and a lot of chocolate sampling. The plan? Take Middle Eastern dessert vibes and turn them into liquid gold. The base was a pistachio and tahini infused milk chocolate so smooth it practically melted on sight. Then came the toppings: pistachio whipped cream (because extra is our middle name), toasted knafeh for crunch, and a spiced pizzelle cookie on the side—fancy, but approachable. We named it Heart of Dubai because “Desert Chocolate Explosion” didn’t sound classy enough. The first sip had people saying, “Is this hot chocolate, or did I just board a luxury flight to Dubai?” Mission accomplished. Now it’s stealing the show at YYC Hot Chocolate Fest, one Instagram-worthy sip at a time.
