In the heart of Calgary- Egg and Spoon is nestled between the bustling streets of this vibrant city, a new creation was about to change the way people thought about flavor. Egg & Spoon which is known for its amazing Brunch Dishes, had just received a challenge unlike any other—a request that would spark an unforgettable story. It was a gray afternoon when ANI, the FOH Manager, was handed a mysterious note from a regular customer. The note simply read, "Can you Create a drink that balances the richness of chocolate and the earthiness of matcha, Make it as unique as the perfect moment."
Intrigued by the challenge, ANI began gathering ingredients. He started with cocoa, deep and rich, stirring in matcha for a calming, green twist. A dash of vanilla softened the bitterness, while the hazelnut brought in a nutty warmth. A pinch of salt balanced the complexity, like the calm after a storm. But Ani wasn’t done yet. He topped it all off with steamed milk, frothy, silky, and comforting, creating a smooth base for the harmonious blend of flavors. And then, as if guided by some mystical energy, He garnished it with a swirl of velvety matcha whipped cream offering a hint of earthiness, along with an unexpected yet delightful touch, an avocado espresso brownie.
